How ActivDay is Natural?

Ans: ActivDay is Natural, Native Milk Protein as its made by Mechanical process

The Milk is Processed through the Mechanical Cold Filtration process. This process makes sure that the Proteins are in their Natural Form as in the fresh Skimmed Milk. this cold Mechanical Filtration Process is Designed to separate the Milk proteins from its carbohydrates namely the Lactose, without disturbing the Miscelle structure of the casein and whey protein. ActivDay Contains Milk proteins concentrates, which contains the caseins and whey proteins in their natural ratio and in native state.

Milk is the oldest and one of the most widely consumed nutritious foods worldwide. It is highlighted as a source of high-quality proteins and one of the most important sources of bioactive peptides.

Milk proteins have high nutritive value and remarkable medicinal properties. They are known as potential ingredients of health-promoting functional foods, and the dairy industry has already commercialized many milk proteins and peptide-based products which can be consumed as part of a regular daily diet. They are consumed by infants, the elderly, and immune-compromised people.

They are also consumed to maintain good health status and prevent diet-related chronic diseases such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. Milk-derived peptides are commonly ingested both in functional foods and drugs. They exhibit various well-defined pharmacological effects, for example, in the treatment of diarrhea (casomorphins), hypertension (casokinins), thrombosis (casoplatelins), dental diseases, mineral malabsorption (CPPs), and immunodeficiency (immunopeptides).

These findings introduce new perspectives in the nutritional and technological evaluation of milk.

Can ActivDay be used by diabetic patients?

Milk Proteins are less in Carbo Hydrates (Lactose of Milk).  As ActivDay has very less lactose in it, It Has very Low Glycaemic index. Any protein Which Digests faster will have High Glycaemic Index, as the faster digestion means that the proteins are quickly converted to Blood glucose for absorption.

Activday has the best combination of slow Release proteins at 80% (Miscellar Casein) and Fast release proteins 20% (whey protein).  this ratio is the magic to keep the blood glucose levels at non spiking ranges. this is vital for the diabetic consumers.

Hence, Clearly, ActivDay can be used for Diabetic Care.

What is the Glycaemic Index & Glycaemic Load of ActivDay?

  • The glycaemic index (GI) rates carbohydrates according to how quickly they raise the glucose level of the blood.
  • The glycaemic load (GL) rates carbohydrates according to the glycaemic index and the amount of carbohydrate in the food.
  • A low GI rating of a food does not mean you can eat a larger serve of that food – the total amount of carbohydrate and kilojoules consumed is still important.
  • Choose a diet containing plenty of fruits, vegetables and legumes, but with smaller helpings of potatoes, and less highly refined grain products and concentrated sugar.
As ActivDay has Very Low Carbohydrates, it is rated as Very Low GI Food.
The GI concept should be applied only to foods providing at least 15 g and preferably 20 g of available carbohydrates per normal serving, and comparisons should be kept within the same food group. As ActivDay has only 8 gram of carbohydrates, The GI Is Extremly Low and hence the GL.

Activday is a Low Glycaemic Index Food. ActivDay is a Low Glycaemic Load Food.

Due to Low GI and GL, ActivDay can be Used by Diabetics for better Blood Glucose Control.

ActivDay Prime Has the Glycaemic Index (GI): 8  (Below 50) and Glycaemic Load (GL): 3 (Below 10)

Hence, ActivDay is a Low Glycaemic Index and Low Glycaemic Load Protein Source.

How ActivDay helps in Weight Management?

ActivDay for Weight Reduction & Weight Gain

Activday can be used in both ways either to Gain Weight or Loose Weight. In a Typical Diet, lets consider your average calories that is consumed and used by your body is 2000 Calories. If the 2000 Calorie diet is divided as below, the respective results are assured.

Is ActivDay rich in Folate & Vitamin B 12?

ActivDay has 2.3 times more Folate & Vitamin B12, than normal Skimmed Milk Powder. “From only one glass of milk 40% of the recommended daily intake of vitamin B12 is provided” – Page 13: Vitamin B12, Folate and Folate Binding Proteins in Dairy Products by Karin Arkbåge Department of Food Science Uppsala. Doctoral thesis Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences Uppsala 2003. Hence, ActivDay PRIME has 90% of the Dairy Recommended Daily Intake.

ActivDay is a great sources of protein and several vitamins and minerals, including vitamin B12. One cup (240 ml) of whole milk supplies 18% of the RDI for vitamin B12 (2). *** Source : https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/vitamin-b12-foods#section12

Among all kinds of cheeses, Swiss cheese has been shown to have the highest vitamin B12 content. One ounce (30 grams) of Swiss cheese can contain about 16% of the RDI (3). Interestingly, studies have shown that the body absorbs the vitamin B12 in milk and dairy products better than the vitamin B12 in beef, fish or eggs (456). For example, a study in over 5,000 people showed that dairy was more effective than fish at increasing vitamin B12 levels (7). *** Source : https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/vitamin-b12-foods#section12

As ActivDay PRIME & CHOCO contains all the Casein and Whey proteins of milk in the intact state, the vitamins in milk are present at 2.3 time of that of Milk.
